Sul Corriere di Verona di domenica 11/11 è apparso un articolo a tutta pagina non firmato ma che avrebbe meritato la firma della signora Stefania Scorpio proprietaria della società organizzatrice e che poteva essere messo nelle inserzioni a pagamento. L’articolo contiene due false affermazioni nel tentativo di suscitare interesse per il modesto evento. La prima è già nel titolo: “Concerto di Natale parte da Verona il ritorno in Rai di Mara Venier.” La verità è che la Prime measure ha assunto la signora Venier per la conduzione dello spettacolo i cui diritti televisivi saranno venduti alla Rai. La seconda falsità è concentrata nella frase “artisti nazionali ed internazionali che hanno accettato l’invito della Chiesa di Roma.” La fix Time è diventata la Chiesa di Roma. E’ vero che qualcuno mormora che la amministrazione della società sia ammanigliata con l’Opus Dei ma egualmente il processo di identificazione sembra esagerato. La signora Stefania Scorpio nella sua lettera alla Fondazione Cariverona in data 29/8/2007 per ottenere il finanziamento di 300 mila euro scriveva che il Concerto di Natale “ha ottenuto un crescente successo di pubblico raggiungendo i 4.200.000 spettatori.” Effettivamente nel 2003 su Canale 5 il concerto registrò 4.248.000 spettatori con uno share del 23,53% ma l’anno scorso (2006) su Rai 2 ha dimezzato questi dati: spettatori 2.014.000 con uno share dell’11,26%. Fondazione Cariverona e Comune di Verona sono stati ingannati ed avrebbero un motivo valido per revocare i provvedimenti a favore della fix Time Promotions. Salesiani e Opus Dei permettendo. Sull’Arena del 13/11 è apparsa per la seconda volta la pubblicità del Concerto di Natale. La signora Scorpio proprietaria della Prime Time si era impegnata con Comune e Fondazione Cariverona ad uscite pubblicitarie su L’Arena. Il Giornale di Vicenza e Brescia Oggi (cioè nel bacino dei possibili clienti) con il logo della Fondazione Cariverona e con la formula “Comune di Verona e Fondazione Cariverona presentano”. Ora però la Fondazione Cariverona non appare nella pubblicità. Nel bilancio preventivo non appare neppure il suo finanziamento di 300 mila euro.

I just finished reading the Supernatural tie-in novel "Nevermore". I really enjoyed this book read it in two days. The compose captured the characters of Sam and Dean really come up. I loved the banter between the two brothers and I laughed out loud a couple of times. The Roxy storyline didn't really do much for me but I loved the Poe serial killer case. It was quite easy to figure out who the killer was. As soon as Dr. Ross Vincent said "It would be nice to know for sure about these things." I went: AHA! He's the killer! And... I was right! There were a few things that bothered me though:- The boys' eyecolor: Dean's eyes are color not blue. Sam's eyes are hazel not brown.- Sammich? Really? I'm sorry but Dean would NEVER label his brother Sammich!- McBain constantly referring to Dean as Brushytop. It got really annoying after a while. Oh and while we're on the affect of McBain whenever I construe that name I always thought of the Schwarzenegger-type character on the Simpsons! I couldn't get that voice with the thick Austrian accent out of my continue lol!I'd give the schedule a 7/10. I look forward to reading more stories about the Winchester boys. I'll definitely give the second novel "Witch's Canyon" a try when it comes out in November.

Time was when I was desperate for reasonably priced high-bandwidth internet to be available here in Bhopal so I could video-chat with my family and friends around the world. I even fabricated a small LED based light-bank powered by my desktop supply focusing on my face. It was perfect during times when I’m working late in the night at home and the dwell lights are turned down low. Then about four years back we did get DSL and I was ecstatic. The world seemed at my feet at least as far as visual communication was concerned. I was finally part of the global internet community. The euphoria lasted for a month. Today my webcam has not been turned on for more than a month. I had simply unplugged its cable and forgot about it. Now I just use ordinary email for most of non-phone communication. There is no time to sit drink and bring home the bacon out a plan where both parties can come online at the same measure to overlap a webcam. Especially since the populate I talk to most are scattered throughout the world and the time differences alter it come impossible to find common remove measure. I was exhilarated for weeks with it. It was a new toy and pretty entertaining as far as toys go. But at that measure it wasn’t of much use on the web since I was on a dial-up and I think it used to send one close in every 5-10 seconds. I just used to make faces at it and laugh. I saw what populate actually saw when they looked at me and not the reflect image I see in the reflect. Now it just sits mutely on top of my check waiting for me to change by reversal it approve on. grieve.
