Notes:Recorded at Atlantic Recording Studios and at Electric Lady Studios.
This is Billy Cobham's third solo recording under his own name and is a fine follow-up to Crosswinds. The mini-suite "Solarization" not only showcases the band's technical abilities but also Cobham's strong compositional skills. It also features a schizophrenic piano solo ("Second Phase") from the underrated pianist Milcho Leviev who sounds like a mutation of Cecil Taylor and Bill Evans. The funky "Moon Germs," on which John Abercrombie is pushed to inspiring new heights became a Cobham classic. "The Moon Ain't Made of Green Cheese" is a beautiful flugelhorn solo by Randy Brecker backed by Cobham's debut on piano. The band stretches out on the lengthy "
" while "Last Frontier" is a gratuitous drum solo. This recording is highly recommended as Cobham still sounds inspired.:::By Robert Taylor:::

Bold Astrological Prediction: Ann Coulter Will Continue To Disappoint

 <modified>2007-11-27T21:31+00:00

Assuming that Ann Coulter hasn't lied about her date of birth (and there is plenty of cerebrate I believe we are about to see the spectacular results of how nasty an eclipse can get. Based on the assumption that the December 8/61 bring forth date is correct here's what's hitting for Ann:The is squaring her Natal Sun and Mars transiting mars is opposing the Sun/Mars conjunction and Pluto is conjuncting the natal moon. If we had a confirmed measure of bring forth we could determine the house rulerships involved. Although I haven't done a proper rectification for her chart offhand I'm thinking she was born around 8 or 9 in the morning. Capricorn rising suits her cheekbones and Saturn in Capricorn in the first suits her not-so-warm and fuzzy call. What's even more interesting is that a birth around that measure would put her Midheaven in Scorpio which is traditionally ruled by Mars.... And today her new book.
hits the shelves. I have a strong suspicion that it isn't going to sell desire hotcakes as her stuff usually does. I experience what you're thinking: I'm probably just making decisions based on silly emotional thinking. Just like a woman.. particularly a single woman who Ann has pointed out recently Sure... I get laughed at for trying to guess the future and Ann Coulter makes money off of trying to revive the caveman days. There just ain't no justice...
O hell what undergo we here?A Carrion Death within whose empty eye is a written move. I shall read the writing:All that glister is not gold,Often have you heard that told. Many a man whose life hath sold,But my outside to see. Gilded tombs do worms enfold. Have you been as wise as bold,Young in limbs but judgement old. Your answer has not been inscrolled,go you well your suit is cold. Cold indeed and labour lost. Then farewell heat and welcome frost.
